What started as an ordinary day for Suzy Styles became one that changed her life forever. While trying to buy pretzels from a stubborn vending machine on the street, she was struck by lightning. Something about the lightning and the malfunctioning machines gave her incredible powers. When she went looking for medical assistance, she found not her friend Dr Tofu, but the results of his experiment - a genetically engineered baby mammoth.

When Suzy 'powers up' by eating a pretzel, her body becomes flexible, and able to twist herself as much as the snack food in question. Her enhanced agility also brings her enhanced strength, and even the ability to fly - though her talent in the last area leaves something to be desired.

Suzy lives with girlfriend, Hakodate Star journalist Niki O'brien. Since her first adventure, they have been taking care of Tofu's creation Mamo-chan.
