(CU on Euan's face, looking puzzled. CU on Carmen's face looking worried. CU on Ratbat's face raising her eyebrows. CU on Leila asleep in her chair.)

EUAN:

5. BRIDGE AGAIN

EUAN:

We have to fire! Now! Or we lose everything that's dear to us!

RUTH:

6. AND AGAIN.

RATBAT:

(Huge explosion on the bridge. Sam is thrown to the ground).

This time we have been pushed too far! We keep retreating, and retreating and retreating, and I for one am sick of it! We have to stand up to them and say 'This far, and no further!'

RATBAT:

Yes, and after they've shot us out of the sky they'll say to our smouldering remains, 'Fair enough, your choice'.

EUAN:

Somehow I don't think you're treating this situation with the seriousness it deserves, Sigma.

RATBAT:

Well Duh.
